Owner was hostile and disrespectful / Event area filled with water

Owner was very confrontational about the quite time for the common event area. The contract that was provided says clearly that quite time is at 10pm but he stated that we must turn music off at our event at 9pm. When we showed him the verbaige that states 10pm quite time on the contract he said that was for the cabins only. He also said the city code says 9pm which is not true. At no point was he respectful or helpful in getting his point across to his guests. He mentioned several times how many properties he owns (who cares) and was recording every conversation that was had (without informing who he was recording). I have never seen a owner in a hospitality service act so demeaning towards his guests or record them without there knowledge. He treated us as an advesary and at no point was he apologetic for the confusion created by the contract verbiage. During the wedding the astroturf that covered the entire event area began to take on water which created huge squishy areas. These areas were like walking on a waterbed and guest had to tread lightly as they were very unstable to walk on. Many guests with long dresses were wet after dinner as their dress was on the ground and soaked up water. When this was menetioned to the owner he said I will look into it and offered no apology or immediate concern as to the effect on his guests. This is a clear safety hazard and a direct negative impact on the event and guest experience. I strongly suggest that a compensation should be provided to the bride and groom due to the fact that this had a huge distaction from their ceremony. Everyone at the wedding was talking about the large amounts of water the astroturf had trapped under it. Many elderly guests had to navigate in and around these areas. As the night went on the areas became larger and more swelled. The waterfall feature has a large leak and is spilling water under the astroturf and that cannot be just brushed off with a comment of we will look into it. If you are expecting a flat area to have a life time event and it floods with water there should be some follow up and compensation from the owner, immediately...... I will be following up with the bride and groom to see if there is a written statement regarding the flooding and a compensation offered as that is the right action to take. I would also suggest the owner take some sort of accountability for his attitude toward his guests either through a phone call of written letter.
